Cookie policy
What we set, why, and how to change your mind.
Essential cookies
Set by Clerk, our authentication provider, to keep you signed in and to protect the sign-in process. These are strictly necessary for the service to work, so they are set without asking — you cannot use an account without them. They are also used to remember your progress through the generator.
Analytics cookies — only with your consent
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used: which pages people read, where they get stuck, and which parts go unnoticed. It sets cookies including _clck and _clsk, and records anonymised session replays and heatmaps. None of this is set unless you press Accept on the cookie banner, and pressing Reject means the Clarity tag is never loaded at all.
What Clarity does not see
The content of your documents is redacted before it leaves your browser. Client names, site addresses, first aiders and site emergency contacts are masked in every recording, as is anything you type into a form field. We can see how the pages are used, not what is written on them.
No advertising
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings link below or in the site footer to change or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing it stops Clarity loading and deletes the analytics cookies already set. You can also clear cookies in your browser at any time.
