RAMS for Builders

A building RAMS has to cover more hazards at once than any other trade, because a refurbishment or extension moves through demolition, structural work, dust, noise, height, plant and other trades in the same week. A principal contractor or a client reads it to see that each phase has been thought about separately, not summarised in one paragraph.

A RAMS Pal document for building work lets you select every hazard that applies, from asbestos and silica dust to manual handling, work at height and moving vehicles, and produces a risk assessment row for each with its controls and residual score. The method statement follows the phases of the job, and the permits section picks up hot works, isolation and permits to dig where the answers call for them.
